About This Course
The Superior Ropeworks Rapid Extraction Module Support (REMS) course is designed to train rescue personnel in the specialized tactics required to perform rope rescue while operating in remote and rugged terrain. This 5 day course provides students the knowledge to build their mastery of advanced, lightweight and portable rescue systems, enabling rapid victim access and medical evacuations where standard assets cannot reach. The curriculum places a heavy emphasis on small team dynamics in challenging environments, allowing operators to hone communication, leadership, and critical decision-making under high risk and exposed conditions. Compliant with FIRESCOPE ICS 162-4 and NWCG PMS 552, this course ensures your module effectively operates at the highest level.
